Purchasing Through Steam

Here is a tutorial video I made showing just how easy it is to purchase games through the Steam platform that I described in this post. It is really quite easy to do, and takes almost no time at all.

  1. Interesting tutorial, but I thought your voice was a little low.

  2. Interesting video for game players. You could have made the link to your video a bit more obvious. Video content good, audio a bit subdued.

  4. I actually thought the link was plenty obvious and I had no problem finding it. I understand how hard it can be to try to embed the video in here because a lot of times the embedded video can distort the layout of the blog. The audio was plenty loud on my computer as well. Overall, very good presentation. I've used steam before and it's a great service in my opinion.

  5. It is a good basic walk through of the service. I hope you will post something that will explain more detailed problems. Such what you would do if you need to reinstall a game and how many times can you transfer a game you have bought.

  6. I liked how you spoke slowly so that the audio was clear and enunciated. The tutorial was very informative. The overall presentation seemed seemless and that showed that you did a lot of preparation to match the script to the features you would be showing off. Also, the video loaded quickly even though there were a lot of graphics. If there was one criticism, I think that the screencast could have been enhanced with the use of the red line tool to circle items that you were discussing rather than using the cursor. I thought you did a great job.

  7. I thought the video was informative, but also think you could have spoken a little louder so you'd sounded more secure about your topic. I'm not a gamer but I'm sure that website you talked about is a great tool for people who are really into pc games.

    Reinstalling/uninstalling a game is not the most intuitive thing in the world. I will be sure explain how to do this in future posts.

    @Evie
    I did not know how to use the red line tool at the time. I agree that it would have been much clearer if I used the red line tool. Now I know for the future though.
